i donwloaded and isntalled the latest drives but a distorted screen come sup when i restar, coudl someoen that has this wlak me through how to instlal th new drives with windows xp pro?

hrm try the cd drivers. also make sure you reset your properties to 32bit.

none of the drivers i install seem to want ot work ive found that ive been doing a lot of boot from last known good configuration, i cant even load HL2 up i get an "unable to init shader system" error which has to be card related because my old card would loa dup HL2 just went REALLY slow... Its even choppy when im scrolling in IE, so i know something is wrong...

edit: and when i try to play TFC with it it tells me it doesnt support openGL but i know it does because ive looked at the OpenGL options screen...

uninstall all video drivers. start in safe mode. run a program called driver cleaner. then start windows again. install drivers again.

make sure you run spyware programs: spybot S&D, spywareblaster, and aadaware.

do i do it in that exact order? and do i need to download driver cleaner or is it part of windows? I dont see it under accessories...
