Can anyone tell me how "cyber-crime" is any different from plain-old regular crime? Same for "cyber-terror".

No... it just uses the web, I wasn't kidding... if a terrorist bombs a factory, it's a bombing, on the web, they (would) use viruses to take down our infrastructure. If someone actually managed to take down the web, we would be in a huge panic.

cybercrime: Crime committed using a computer and the internet. <br>
There are so many different cybercrimes that can be commited it boogles the mind. Most common are Fraud or Tampering (damaging/disrupting computer operations). Copyright violations are common too, but not as serious.
